A FIRST SYNTHESIS OF CONCERNS BY THE LISTENING COMMITTEE
During the five days of discernment, Brothers Donald Mouton (USA), Esteban de Vega (Spain), y Alain Houry (France) have quietly worked on something very important. They have gathered and grouped together the various sentiments of the Capitulants on a laptop computer which they setup in the corridors.
This first listing of themes shows us the direction and areas of initial concern of the Capitulants:
• Community Life
• Association of Brothers and Laity
• Prayer, spiritual life
• Formation
• Service to the poor
• Vocation Ministry
• Missión and service
• Identity of the Brothers
• Community and Association
• … …
The General Chapter will have to decide the priorities. This will be the time that the thematic groups will begin their work. The six leaders of these groups will take the place of the three linguistic group leaders on the Central Commission. We are beginning the 4th phase.
