A COPY OF THE CONDUCT FOR THE CAPITULANTS
The Capitulants keep receiving small gifts from the different Districts. These souvenirs are placed on the work station of each in the Aula Magna. The Brothers of France had a special and very limited edition of the Management of the Christian Schools published expressly for the participants of this 44th General Chapter. It is a precise reproduction of the edition made in Avignon in 1720.
The Capitulants thanked the French Brothers for the kind gesture. It will be a beautiful reminder when they return to their native countries. |

OPINIONS
Frederick MUELLER - USA
The experience of the first two movements of the chapter has been for me an exhilirating and challenging one. I have found much life in meeting Brothers from around the world who share a common wish to live in faternity and to serve young people in need. I have been challenged by the many ideas offered by our presenters and, as well, by the many diverse cultural, socio-political situations where the Lasallian world is present.
The Preparatory/Central Committee has done an extraordinary job.
Felipe Perez GAVILAN - Mexico
I see it and feel it very well, with much depth in seeking the long range lines of attention which lead us to avoid piling on proposition upon proposition that would only complicate future actions of the Institute’s governance structure.
This time of 5 days of discernment has been most valuable for me. |
