Identity and Formation as all-pervading concepts

All the Thematic Groups are addressing the Identity of the Brothers and Formation as all pervading concepts, or umbrella ideas, that necessarily impact on their respective theme.

As the work advances, The Groups are revising the title of their particular work and the contents of the priority themes which are the object of their reflection and proposals. The Central Commission suggests that each have an introduction to their report to give focus to the content of the same.

Writing the first drafts of the texts

The Thematic Groups have been working intensely. These have been tough days for all.

The Brothers working as translators have had their work doubled as they run back and forth between the translation cabins and the written work that results from the oral sessions. The support services are kept at their posts until well into the night. The photocopying machines are being tested to the limit.

Daily summaries are translated into the different languages. In this way everything is ready for the first hour of work the following morning. We are into the “production” phase. First drafts are being written up and then they are subjected to internal debate in the respective groups as they strive for the best expression of their ideas.
