From Managua, Nicaragua, after six weeks of visits to various Districts of RELAL, I would like to send to all the Brothers and all the other members of the Lasallian Family, my most fraternal best wishes for a Happy and Holy Easter, Feast of the Resurrection.

During this pastoral visit, I have been able to see once again a profound religious spirit in the hearts of many children and young people, a search for meaning in their lives and a great openness to God.

In various countries that I visited Youth Easters are being celebrated and many other young people have set out for a mission in distant villages so as to accompany these simple people and live Easter with them. Just yesterday, here in Managua, we said goodbye to a large group of pupils and young past-pupils from different school centres in Nicaragua. All this is sign of life and hope and a confirmation that our Lasallian vocation is important and necessary.

May the risen Lord allow us to continue to be for the new generations, instruments of salvation and of life resurrected.
