MADRID – SPAIN - MEETING OF YOUNG LASALLIANS: WE BEGIN TO BUILD with...restlessness, freshness, commitment, and responsibility. These values, marked by FAITH, SERVICE, and FRATERNITY, have an impact on us. This could be the faithful reflection of the adventure that we resolve to continue embarking on as YOUNG LASALLIANS.

This is a day that will remain in our hearts. We Young Lasallians, in good number, embraced an experience of encounter, dreams, and challenge.

The times when we managed to learn about the following realities together will remain in our hearts:

– The summary of the experience of the Second International Symposium of Young Lasallians, held in Rome (in the summer of 2006).
– The summary of the responses to the questionnaire sent to the Young Lasallians from ARLEP.
– The creed of the YOUNG LASALLIAN and the profile of the YOUNG LASALLIAN.

The expression in groups and in assembly of the needs and the proposals for improvement in order to continue driving and energizing the movement of Young Lasallians in the District of Madrid encourages all of us to continue believing in this PROJECT OF EVANGELIZATION.

BOGOTÁ – COLOMBIA - WELCOMING SESSION AT DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY: From January 15th to 20th 2007, in De La Salle University Bogotá, Columbia, the welcoming session for the 1,850 first term students of the 21 undergraduate academic programs. This introduction week has as its aim to make the institution known and make the new student aware of his role as a university student at the beginning of his life project in the field of his profession.

Also during this week we arrange to meet the parents with whom we share the responsibility for the professional training of these young people. The photographs capture the day of family integration and the closing of this week of introduction.

On February 24th and 25th last the 25th and 26th Lasallian Dog Shows took place. De La Salle University and the Lasallian Dog Club held this competition in the exhibition area of De La Salle College. The photographs show some examples of champions which have won prizes from international judges.
