Fraternal greetings to
you along with the hope that you are enjoying much peace and are enthusiastic in carrying out the ministry that
the Lord has entrusted to you. |

The last week has been
dedicated almost exclusively to General Assembly meetings in which the final reports of the commissions were reviewed
and the recommendations and proposals of the commissions were discussed and voted upon. |
|

The General Assembly gathered
this evening to thank Br. John Johnston and the General Council for their years of dedication to the administration
of the Institute. |
|
|
This morning the General
Assembly met to elect the remaining 5 members of the General Council. |
|
|
Throughout the past several
weeks the Chapter Members have been working diligently in seven different commissions. |
|
|
This morning the General
Assembly met and elected Br. William Mann, Visitor of the Long Island-New England District, the Vicar General. |
|

In the afternoon the Chapter
members met in the Chapter Hall for an
address by the Superior. |
|

Today, the Brother Capitulants
of the 43rd General Chapter elected Br. Alvaro Rodriguez Echeverria, the current Vicar General, as the 26th successor
to the Founder. |

The first step in the election
of the Superior General began today. |

The Government Commission
requested time this afternoon for the General Assembly to sit as a Committee of the Whole in order to exchange
ideas about the qualities of the next Superior and his Council. |

is underway and more and more the Brother participants are beginning to relate with one another and to know each
